Did You Know That Worrying Actually Weakens Your Stomach?

  • Pause for a moment to think about something that worries you.

  • Pay attention to your body and notice how your mouth, throat, and

  • stomach feel.

  • Do you notice any changes? Maybe your jaw or lips feel tighter. You might even sense your throat tightening or a bit more acid in your stomach.


 

Let’s let that thought go – NOW 😊

  • Close your eyes and picture a beautiful teal light within your heart. Imagine it growing brighter and stronger.

  • Nothing exists in this moment except your magnificent teal light.

  • Allow the light to fill your whole head. Relax your mind by focusing on the light.

  • Imagine the teal light inside your mouth and let your jaw relax.

  • Picture the healing teal light shining brightly as it moves easily down your throat and into your stomach.

  • Take three slow, calming breaths in and out. When you’re ready, open your eyes.

Worry quickly makes your stomach more acidic. It’s not just an emotion—it’s a negative energy that sets off a chain reaction in your mind, body, and spirit. The extra acid lowers the antibodies that help your good gut bacteria and starts feeding the bad bacteria, like candida.  Left unchecked, it continues to feed, setting off a chain reaction.  


Our entire digestive system becomes inefficient, no longer absorbing the nutrients in the foods we eat or even the supplements we take. Over time, this means that we actually activate the process of malnutrition. We could even have the perfect diet, but our bodies absorb and store the wrong stuff. This leads to challenges with body mass & weight.


  • When we worry, our breathing becomes shallow. This affects the vagus nerve, which sends signals to our organs and restricts blood flow. Our bodies tense up in response. This is known as the fight-or-flight response.

  • The body starts producing stress hormones.

  • Your circulatory system then has to work harder to send oxygen throughout your body, including your brain. This can make you feel foggy and unfocused.


The body’s inflammation response is also activated. It stays on, even as you sleep. It remains active in your subconscious and superconscious mind. This forms a vicious circle, all started by the negative energy of WORRY.


Worry emits a low energetic frequency, just like any addiction. This includes smoking, overeating, carb binges, alcohol, drugs, etc.


Worry is not reality. It is a frightening, fictional movie playing in your mind again and again. Worry cannot fix any issue because the story is not real.  

 

I get it, you’re human, so am I.  Our emotions are not a light switch we can just turn on and off. I know because I used to be a worrier. My habit was so bad that I would worry about anything I did not control. Then I could worry about that stuff too! I read volumes of self-help books, but I always felt like I was banging my head against a closed door. The door to the other side just wouldn’t open!


I believed if I could just find the right key, I could do it. I wasn’t lacking effort or intelligence; I just needed a tool that fit my busy schedule and was easy to follow.
