Recent studies suggest that meditation can ignite the brain to release delicate bursts of light called photons. These glimmers and vibrant colors often dance before our inner vision as we rise to new levels of awareness or connect with our higher self. Science is finally studying what has been handed down through ancient wisdom: that the lights we see during meditation signal the gentle dissolving of old, heavy energy. This soft release leaves us feeling calm, refreshed, and deeply at peace. In my work as an Energy Healing practitioner, every client has experienced some form of release, whether through flashes and ribbons of color, waves of warmth or coolness, or a profound sense of peace.

Even outside of meditation, those who radiate more photons are happier, healthier, and more vibrantly alive. They are naturally drawn to this peaceful state, familiar with its gentle warmth and able to return to it whenever they choose. The energy we send out into the world is the energy that finds its way back to us, just like a magnet.
If you are new to meditation, start with short sessions. You can find many guided meditations on YouTube, many just 5 to 15 minutes long, along with a variety of helpful meditation apps. If you have tried meditation but have not yet felt the release of heavy energy, it may simply mean you need to give yourself permission to truly let go and relax your body, mind, and spirit. Concerned you might drift off? Rest assured, your subconscious and superconscious stay alert, ready to absorb and support your healing, whether you are awake or asleep.
Here's a tip: When I meditate during the day, I set an alarm on my phone so my meditation time is dedicated to the moment. On days when I feel tired, just fifteen minutes of meditation can leave me feeling as refreshed and renewed as if I had enjoyed hours of deep sleep.
The mind holds immense power, much of it mysterious. By using meditation as a tool, we can amplify the photons we generate and reach higher states of consciousness by embracing emotions such as joy, hope, passion, acceptance, and love. These uplifting feelings illuminate our path to wisdom and enlightenment.
